The gym is now available for a maximum of 60 minutes per day. Please read all terms and conditions before booking your time slot.

We are excited to be re-opening the gym and please ask residents to be respectful of the guidelines set out above and to also respect the health and safety of other residents. We will monitor both the usage and the practicalities over the coming weeks to ensure that health and safety is not being compromised

To ensure we can operate the gym in a safe and controlled manner we will be implementing the following changes

  • You must book a slot using the booking facility on the Chapter Services App 
  • The slots will be for 60 minutes at a time and no more than one slot per day may be booked per user 
  • Residents who are unwell should not use the gym.  Anyone displaying signs of fever, a new persistent cough and/or part of a household with someone with these symptoms must not attend the gym, stay home and get a Covid 19 test 
  • Gym hours may be limited; use only during open hours
  • Residents will initially be able to book a maximum of one slot per day subject to availability, on a first-come-first-served basis. All bookings must be made via the Chapter Services App 
  • Residents must not share equipment with other users of the gym  
  • Some equipment has been moved or is turned off to allow social distancing to be adhered to. Please do not turn on any equipment that is out of use or move any of the equipment.  
  • Please bring your own drink containers with you and dispose of any unwanted bottles in the regular way.  
  • Please use the bins provided to dispense of any wipes or tissues.  
  • Cleaning operatives will clean down equipment after every session, but we ask residents to also clean equipment before and after every use.  
  • Hand sanitiser and disinfectant wipe stations are positioned throughout the gym and we encourage people to use them regularly.  
  • A member of the onsite team will monitor and inspect the gym five minutes before the end of each session to ensure that all residents respect the session times.  

Terms & Conditions

1. All residents are expected to familiarise themselves with the gym equipment and review operating instructions found on the equipment prior to use. 
2. If a resident is not familiar with the use of a piece of equipment, they are requested to avoid its use and seek further advice on its use from a professional qualified person. 
3. Residents should make themselves aware of the location of any emergency alarms.
4. All residents are required to use the equipment in the manner as indicated on the guideline's, available in the gym.
5. Residents found to be engaging in inappropriate behaviour in the gym will be removed from the facility, with their access revoked.
6. In the interest of safety, no person under the age of 18 years is admitted to the fitness facilities.
7. Residents are asked to dress appropriately and maintain the standard of the gym. Residents are required to wear appropriate clothing and footwear. 
8. Residents must always use a training towel and are asked to wipe down machines after use.
9. Residents should avoid use of any damaged equipment and report any damaged equipment to the Chapter Team.
10. The Chapter Team reserves the right to terminate gym membership use for breach of the rules of inappropriate conduct.
